It all likely began when Becca was three years old and ran away to become a lion tamer. Being in a zoo at the time she stopped to ask the baboons for directions - needless to say she never found the lions. She did, however, find her family - much to their relief.

Then there was the time she ran away to join the circus. Since the circus was not in town at the time, the expedition was ill-fated from the start. In fact, the circus has never been to her town. Nor is it likely it ever will. Running away to join the funfare just doesn’t sound as good though, does it?

In self-defence her mother handed her Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Becca’s been waiting for the White Rabbit to show up ever since. He’s late.

In the meantime she writes stories, while playing dodgeball with real life. Occasionally she walks dogs and gets bossed about by cats. Other than that she sleeps. It is believed she is genetically descended from lemurs, and has an unhealthy interest in magpies and stars. Shiiny.
